Group seeks blankets for homeless

D'IBERVILLE -- DANCEL Multimedia is collecting new or clean, gently used blankets for the homeless. These blankets will be distributed through a local nonprofit agency that will be announced later. Between 2010 and 2011 the state of Mississippi had a 29 percent increase in homeless families, 19 percent more homeless veterans that were homeless and 10 percent more unsheltered homeless. Please bring blankets to DANCEL Multimedia at 10265 Rodriguez St., D'Iberville, by Dec. 10.
