No one injured when car crashed into downtown Gulfport building
GULFPORT -- Police said no injuries occurred Monday when an elderly woman crashed her car through the front of a commercial building on 14th Street near U.S. 49.
The crash was reported shortly before 12:30 p.m. at the law firm of attorney David Pumford.
It appeared the woman was in a parking spot when she hit the gas instead of the brakes and travelled about 10 feet to the front of the building, police Sgt. Damon McDaniel said.
The Nissan came to rest inside the building.
