Biloxi Council will talk future plans with Coast Transit
Biloxi Mayor Andrew "FoFo" Gilich has called a special meeting Tuesday immediately following the regular 1:30 p.m. meeting to discuss future plans and finances with Coast Transit Authority.
Last week the council increased the city's contribution to CTA by $65,000 to $265,000 a year. At the time, the council asked CTA director Kevin Coggins to come back for a workshop to talk about restoring and expanding service in the city.
On the agenda for the 1:30 meeting at City Hall are a report on the cost of overtime Biloxi paid to city personnel for the Concert on the Coast and requests for a zoning change and a 131-lot single family suubdivision between Hudson-Krohn Road and Old Highway 67 in Woolmarket.
