MGCCC safety Justin Evans commits to Texas A&M
Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College safety Justin Evans has verbally committed to play at Texas A&M.
The Wiggins native picked the Aggies over Auburn, Nebraska, Georgia and Baylor, all of whom played in Bowl games last season.
Evans had 47 total tackles and five interceptions as a freshman last season for the nationally-ranked Bulldogs, which made the MACJC state playoffs last season.
"It seems like the best choice and the best school I can go to," Evans told Aggieyell.com. "They told me come in and do what I need to do and I was going to start right away. Pretty much they want me to come in and run their defense. I will be going up there soon. It might be next week or in the next couple weeks."
Evans will graduate in December and sign with the Aggies during the Mid-year signing period.
