Seven Mississippians among Scout.com's Top 300 rankings

The State of Mississippi had seven football players ranked in the Scout.com's top 300 of juniors.

Bassfield cornerback Jamal Peters was the highest ranked player from the state at 75, a spot ahead of Petal offensive lineman Javon Patterson.  

Murrah athlete Malik Dear is rated 115th.  Brandon defensive lineman Fletcher Adams is ranked No. 159.

The three other ranked Magnolia-state players were North Panola tight end Willie Hibbler (169),   Yazoo City linebacker Timothy Washington (183) and Brookhaven linebacker Leo Lewis (218).
