Check out this story from Shandel Richardson of the South Florida Sun-Sentinel. He wrote about former Saints RB Reggie Bush, who is trying to become an every down back for the Miami Dolphins.
Current Saints Darren Sproles and Pierre Thomas gave their options about Bush, who rushed for 172 yards and two touchdowns last weekend against Oakland.
Just this week, I asked Aaron Kromer, interim coach for the Saints, about Sproles' lack of rushes in the offense. Kromer blamed part of it on the offense's troubles - hard to run the ball when you're in third and long and/or trailing. Here's what else Kromer said:
“It just hasn’t come up to be honest," Kromer said. "There are plenty of runs designed for him or he could be in on the same runs that the other guys are in. He is an inside-outside runner."
