At the request of residents, the city of Gulfport has scheduled public hearings on a comprehensive plan for the city presented to the council in March.
Mayor George Schloegel's administrative assistant, Rebecca Kajdan, sent out an e-mail this morning about the public hearing meeting schedule:
"W ards 6 and 7 will be held today (Wednesday, September 8) from 4:00 pm – 5:30 pm at the Lyman Community Center on Highway 49 · Wards 1 and 3 will be held Thursday, September 9 from 5:30 pm – 7:00 pm at the Isiah Fredericks Community Center
Both meetings are open to the public."
The plan covers Gulfport's needs for the next 20 years. This is your chance to weigh in.
