A new cookbook came to my attention recently and I've enjoyed poring over the pages looking for new dishes to try.
Called New Orleans Kitchens, the cookbook combines the best recipes from the Crescent City with some of the best art the city has on display -- including some from here on the Coast.
We'll have more on the cookbook in an upcoming edition of the Sun Herald. I've been trying to decide which dishes to try to determine how easy/difficult it is to follow the directions, but there are lots to choose from!
My guess is that the brussels sprouts salad may be one of the offerings -- it's one of my husband's favorite veggies and I'm learning to like it.
