Attention fans of Phoenicia Gourmet Cuisine in Ocean Springs: In a few weeks you’ll be able to order your hummus and chicken shawarma in Gulfport.
Owner Essam Sabagh says customers asked for it so in about three weeks he will open his Tiffin Inn Pancake House in the Holiday Inn at 9415 U.S. 49. Phoenicia’s seafood, Mediterranean and salad specialties will be on the menu.
The Tiffin will serve breakfast all day, in addition to lunch and dinner. Hours will be 6 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Sabagh’s family owns the original Tiffin Inn in Kenner, where it’s been open for 35 years. The new location, where the Blow Fly had its temporary location, is being redecorated. It will have seating for about 150 in the main dining room. Catering will be available and so will meeting space and a reception area.
