Gustav is still a tropical storm as of the 10 a.m. advisory from the National Hurricane Center with winds near 70 mph. The storm is headed for Jamaica, where rainfall totals across that country and the Cayman Islands is expected to be 6-12 inches.
The storm is moving to the west at 5 mph.
Meteorologists believe Gustav will enter the Gulf early Sunday with a landfall on the Gulf Coast sometime Tuesday. The latest track has it headed for south central Louisiana; however, there is a 250-mile cone of error, so everyone from Texas to Florida needs to be prepared.
