Country Singer Jon Pardi and Wife Split After Nearly 6 Years of Marriage
Country singer Jon Pardi and his wife, Summer Pardi, have separated after nearly six years of marriage.
"After much thought, we have made the difficult decision to end our marriage," the estranged couple wrote in a joint Instagram statement shared Friday, July 3. "Our daughters will always remain our highest priority and we are committed to moving forward with love and respect as coparents."
Jon, 41, and Summer, 37, had been married since November 2020, later welcoming daughters Presley, 3, and Sienna, 23 months.
Their statement concluded, "Thank you for your understanding, support and respect as we navigate these changes as a family."
Shortly after revealing his divorce plans, Jon shared that he intended to take a step back from social media.
"While I navigate this next chapter, I'm going to take some time away from social media to focus on myself and my family," he wrote via his Instagram Stories. "Thanks to you all for the love and support. My team will handle posting for the time being. I'll see you at the shows."
As for Summer, she's been prioritizing self-care and time with her kids.
"Good morning, back to the early morning workouts before the girls wake up," she said in an Instagram Story video shared on Friday. "Gonna do legs today, so no shoes because I have better balance and just everything is better flat-footed for me for leg day. Gonna kick off this holiday weekend [and I] hope everyone has a wonderful day."
For Jon, he's long found solace in the music and previously told Us how parenthood shifted his musical inspiration.
"It's a new emotion and new song ideas that we can sing about now. [I'm] a father now and you'll feel it more instead of just singing about it," he exclusively told Us Weeklyin April 2025. "You've been there and that's where this record comes in, especially with ‘She Drives Away.'"
He continued at the time, "Even the love songs like ‘Boots Off' is a lovemaking song, but it's fun. ‘Love the Lights Out' is sexy and making up for lost time, and that's all part of marriage. It's all a part of raising kids. There's that more mature stuff where before it was just party, party, party and picking up chicks. It's got a little more of a classy tone to that one."
Those tracks, coincidentally, were among Jon's "favorites off the record."
"‘Boots Off' is definitely one of my favorites. I love the fun honky-tonking, having a good time. Get home, get the boots off, get the lovemaking. It's poetic but honky-tonking fun," Jon gushed, also shouting out his "She Drives Away," "Gamblin' Man" and "Kinda Wanna Keep It That Way" songs. "They're all so good. Just off the top of my head, I threw out those, but there's way more."
