How Alix Earle Felt About Her Surprise Reunion With Ex Braxton Berrios
The Miami Grand Prix has a need for speed - and surprise reunions between exes.
After a TikTok videocirculated online ofAlix Earle and Braxton Berrios coincidentally running into each other at Sports Illustrated's fifth annual Race Weekend Kickoff at Thomas Keller's Surf Club Restaurant at the Four Seasons in Miami on Thursday, April 30, Us Weekly got the scoop on what went down.
"It wasn't awkward between them at all," a source exclusively shared with Us. "Alix was genuinely happy to see Braxton and say hello. There is no bad blood between them, and they have both moved on."
The insider added, however, that the unexpected run-in admittedly brought up some feelings for the influencer.
"Like anyone, of course it brings up mixed emotions for Alix, but she feels like she is in a good place mentally right now," the source explained. "There are no thoughts on rekindling with Braxton. He was super friendly towards her and not cold in the slightest."
Us has reached out to Earle and Berrios' reps for additional comment.
On Thursday night, the reale actives skincare founder, 25, and former NFL player, 30, also stopped by NYLON's Race Week residency at Mary Lou's Miami restaurant. It's unclear if they were at the party at the same time or interacted.
In December 2025, Us exclusively confirmed that Earle and Berrios had broken up after two years of dating.
"A majority of their relationship was long-distance and it was hard for them to navigate," one insider told Us at the time. "They mutually agreed on the split."
Although Earle was briefly linked to NFL player Tom Brady, the former Dancing With the Stars contestant revealed in April that she was going on a first date following her split from Berrios.
"Not sure how to feel," the SipMARGS creator shared via TikTok on April 6. "He was like, ‘I'll pick you up [and] we can walk by the beach, get some food, go on a walk.' I don't know what to wear."
Earle also opened up about her decision to stay away from dating apps.
"I just refuse. I don't like that," she said, noting that her date slid into her DMs. "He made it about skincare, which is why I paid attention. I was like, ‘What? He needs a PR box?' I know it's been four months since my breakup, but it just feels weird still. This feels wrong."
