Amanda Batula Allegedly Deleted IG Amid West Wilson Romance Backlash

Summer House's Amanda Batula is reportedly taking a step back from social media amid her romance with costarWest Wilson.

"Lots of people asking me to make a statement on West & Amanda," one fan wrote to DeuxMoi in a post published on Saturday, April 18. "I actually introduced myself to Amanda in the concourse."

The fan noted that she told Batula, 34, she would "donate $100 to a charity of her choice" if she followed an account that was redacted by DeuxMoi.

"Understandably, she said, ‘I don't have the IG app on my phone [and] currently needed a break,' but she gave her phone number," the fan wrote, noting that she typed redacted information into her notes app. "She promised that she would follow her when she gets back on IG."

In the comments section, users questioned what the information was that was redacted by DeuxMoi.

"She said she'd follow who? That seems like a really odd request without context," one user wrote, to which DeuxMoi replied, "a fan's wife." A user named Kyle Sailor identified himself as the fan in the thread.

Us Weekly reached out to Batula's rep for comment.

The post came one day after Batula and Wilson, 31, were spotted packing on the PDA while attending a baseball game in New York City. In the footage broadcast via the Yes Network, Wilson could be seen leaning in to kiss Amanda while watching from the audience.

Wilson and Batula confirmed their relationship in March after speculation that the pair were romantically involved.

"We've seen the growing online speculation, so while this is still very new, we wanted to provide some clarity," read the joint statement posted via Instagram Story. "It was never our intention to purposely hide anything. Given the complicated relationship dynamics involved and the scrutiny that comes with being on a reality show, we needed a little space to process things privately before speaking on it."

Wilson and Batula went on to note that their romance evolved from friendship. "We've shown up for each other as friends over the years, through all the highs and lows, and what's developed recently was the last thing either of us expected," they continued. "Our connection grew out of a genuine, longstanding friendship, which made it especially important for us to approach this with care."

Batula, for her part, was married to Summer House costar Kyle Cooke for four years before they separated in January. Wilson, meanwhile, dated Batula's BFF Ciara Miller in 2023. A source told Us this month that Wilson and Miller, 30, hooked up again earlier this year.

Days after confirming her romance with Wilson, Batula addressed their relationship in a separate statement via her Instagram Story.

"Hi guys, l'll keep this short and sweet," Batula wrote earlier this month. "I've obviously been MIA, but I wanted to come back on and say that I'm truly sorry to everyone I've disappointed and hurt, especially those I know personally who I've reached out to individually."

"For the sake of my mental health, I'm going to try to start living life with some sense of normalcy," she added. "If you see me out or posting online, please know that this still weighs very heavily on me. I'm not ignoring what's happened or what's unfolded."

Miller broke her silence on their romance on Friday, April 17.

"It's one thing to experience hurt behind closed doors," Miller told Glamour in a profile. "To experience it so publicly is like another layer, and then to have to see what you thought was your life still play out in season 10. It's a major mindf***."
