She’s got the shiny new diamond on her ring finger, but can she win the Mirrorball trophy to match?

Charity Lawson, a Georgia girl from Columbus, just finished up her season of ABC’s “The Bachelorette,” and now she’s stepping into a new role. Literally.

After getting engaged to Dotun Olubeko on season 20 of “The Bachelorette,” Miss. Soon-To-Be Olubeko will compete in season 32 of “Dancing with the Stars” on ABC and Disney+.

Dotun announced the news during the live finale of “The Bachelorette.”

So, how does Charity feel about starring in the competition show?

According to ET, Charity said she is “ready to learn it all, truly get my feet going.”

Lawson joins the cast after a long list of former Bachelorettes have had huge success on the show.

“Bachelorette” star Gabby Windey took second place on the show last year, while “Bachelorette” star, Hannah Brown, won the Mirrorball on DWTS season 28 and Kaitlyn Bristowe won the Mirrorball during season 29.

“I am kind of nervous, but I think the whole thing is to go in thinking this is going to be fun,” she said. “Having fun with it kind of takes that pressure off.”

Here is everything else we know so far about the new season of DWTS:

Who is hosting?

Teasing “The Mirrorball is shining brighter than ever,” on social media, new hosts Julianne Hough and Alfonso Ribeiro will be leading the show.

The news came right after last season’s host, Tyra Banks, announced she won’t be coming back to host the show.

Who else is joining the cast?

According to Zachary Reality on TikTok, “Ariana Madix is a confirmed name.”

Zachary Reality mentioned one more cast member.

“Another name that I personally did hear is Julia Haart from ‘My Unorthodox Life’ on Netflix.”

Entertainment Tonight announced that Oscar winner Mira Sorvino would join the cast.

As for the other cast members? Other names have not been announced at this time, but will probably be rolling in over the next month or so.

When will it premiere?

A solid premiere date has not been announced yet, but the teaser stated the new season is coming “this fall.”
