The new season of “Queer Eye” has taken Netflix by storm and features deserving people from the New Orleans area.

In the first episode of the new season based in NOLA, the Fab 5 visit a frat house for the first time. And Karamo, Tan, Antoni, Jonathan and Bobby have to —rough it — for a bit.

The Fab 5 walk into the University of New Orleans Lamda Chi Alpha fraternity house and are greeted with empty pizza boxes, half-full Solo cups and layers and layers of dirt.

But have no fear — the “Queer Eye” mentors can handle anything and help the frat brothers get their lives and home together, changing the college students’ lives forever.

And spoiler alert: there’s even a mention of the Mississippi Coast.

Bay St. Louis mentioned on ‘Queer Eye’

Here’s the rundown of the episode:

The Fab 5 start with cleaning up the house.

One of the frat brothers, Ryan, explains that living in the frat house makes it an easy drive to campus and it allows him to be close to his parents who live in Bay St. Louis.

“My parents moved to Mississippi Gulf Coast and Bay St. Louis, so it’s about an hour here, so I’m now ten minutes away from campus,” said one of the frat brothers, Ryan.

“So, it’s important to you?” asks Bobby Berk.

“Oh hell yeah,” Ryan says.

“It feels really nice to have a home that’s not disgusting,” Berk jokes.

Berk tells them it’s important to have pride in where you live and take care of it.

Next, Tan France takes them for an “Intro to Style,” where the boys choose a business casual outfit in five minutes and rate each other on each choice.

“I’m flabbergasted,” Tan France said. “I was expecting to be so disappointed in what they might choose. However, almost everyone is so close to being great with their outfits.”

After getting a style lesson, the boys head to the kitchen with Antoni Porowski to make a legendary sandwich, sure to impress the alumni.

It’s a New Orleans classic with a twist–a Muffaletta turned MuffaLamdha.

Next up? Jonathan Van Ness with a groom sesh. Cuts, curls, highlights and beard trims allow the brothers to have a more mature, updated look.

“They’re adorable,” Jonathan told the cameras.

But they aren’t finished yet.

A culture check from Karamo Brown has them in their feels, as they open up to each other about life, finances, jobs and all the emotions.

“As men, you’re taught to hold it all on your shoulders, figure it all out, but then you hold everything inside, and it just starts to eat away at you,” Karamo Brown told the boys. “It’s OK for men to be able to express their emotions.”

They end the talk with hugs and kind words.

Back at the frat house, Bobby Berk did work. The boys are surprised with a new living space, kitchen and game room area, as well as a new wardrobe from Tan France.

Then it’s time for the alumni event, where the boys must meet, greet and mingle with alumni. How did they do?
