Chick-fil-A confirms opening day for Ocean Springs location. Here’s what we know
The final countdown is on for Chick-fil-A lovers in Ocean Springs.
A social media post from the popular eatery said Wednesday that the new Ocean Springs location at 3425 Bienville Boulevard will open on Thursday, April 23.
“We’re excited to open our doors to the Ocean Springs community and welcome guests who have been eagerly anticipating Chick-fil-A’s arrival,” owner-operator Craig Smith confirmed. “It’s an honor to open the first Chick-fil-A in Ocean Springs, and I can’t wait to serve this vibrant community while cultivating new relationships with guests and team members.”
The hours of operation for the Ocean Springs location will be 6:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. from Monday through Saturday, and the restaurant will have an indoor play area for children.
The restaurant said that guests who show up in cow spots would receive a free entrée or kid’s meal in the restaurant or drive-thru on opening day.
Plans for the restaurant were announced in June 2024. Originally Chipotle Mexican Grill was expected to be built first on the west side of a new driveway and Chick-fil-A would follow about six months later on the east side.
Instead, the owners of both restaurants received their building permits from the city in September and both started work soon after the new driveway through the property was paved.
The restaurant has said that it is bringing about 115 full- and part-time jobs to the community.
