The son transformed his father’s flagship restaurant in New Orleans and also won the Michelin Young Chef Award for the South.
Several restaurants in Mississippi were among the 50 Bib Gourmands named by Michelin. This recognizes restaurants for great food at a great value.
“Our anonymous Inspectors were deeply impressed by the region’s culinary prowess,” said Gwendal Poullennec, international director of the Michelin Guide, “and this inaugural selection reflects their findings — from Southern staples like barbecue, Creole and seafood, to international flavors.
