Emmay Mochi Donuts, Desserts and More and the connecting Hero Claw Kingdom are open in the same shopping center as Quickly Asian Fusion Cafe, where Lamey Bridge Road meets Sangani Boulevard and Mallet Road in D’Iberville.
The grand opening of the dessert shop and arcade is on Sunday with give-aways and line dancing, said owner Emmanuel Albert.
Donuts are already selling out at this new family-friendly businesses.
For those who aren’t familiar, mochi donuts are a trendy Korean snack that are are a cross between traditional donuts and healthier mochi rice dough that makes the dessert fluffy and moist.
The donut shop also has ice cream and milkshakes, sugarcane drinks, fruity teas and lemonade, along with racks of snacks, making it an after the game stop or a place where the adults can sit ad enjoy an ice cream or corn dog while the kids play the claw.
Hero Claw Kingdom is the first known claw arcade on the Coast. The room is full of those machines where kids try to grab a prize. Neon lights and music add to the fun in the room.
Emmanuel also operates Quickly 2 in Ocean Springs, and Quickly, 93 Chicken and Tasty Pot restaurants in D’Iberville.
