New Tex-Mex restaurant overlooks South MS beach, pool. Here’s where, and what it’s about
The Gulf Coast meets Tex-Mex at a new restaurant open at Harrah’s Gulf Coast.
The new hotspot at the casino on U.S. 90 in Biloxi, Sizzle & Salt, was created in the lobby, overlooking the pool and the beach beyond.
It’s there for quick bite, a handcrafted cocktail or a meal prepared with Southwest flavors.
The menu features sizzling fajitas as they come out of the kitchen, Southwest eggrolls, smashburgers and margaritas to cool the spice. It starts with a list of starters and favorite snacks, like chips and house-made salsa, wings, nachos, guac and chips that can be topped with lump crabmeat or Biloxi queso with shrimp and lump crabmeat.
Also on the menu are a variety of salads, along with steak, shrimp and chicken fajitas. tacos and quesadillas, A double-double smashburger comes with favorite toppings and a chicken BLT is something different on the sandwich menu.
For dessert, go north with New York cheesecake or Southwest with empanada apple pie or sopapilla with a honey drizzle.
The new restaurant joins seven other dining spots at Harrah’s Gulf Coast.
It is open from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and until 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
