Restaurant and pool hall near Biloxi-Gulfport line is up for sale. It’s yours for $2.2M
Business is going strong at Susie Cue’s restaurant, lounge and billiards in Gulfport, yet the owners are ready to sell.
Owned under the corporate name of Skeeters, “It’s in a good part of town, right off the beach,” said Kim Ross Bush, a Realtor with Coldwell Banker Commercial Alfonso Realty in Ocean Springs.
The business at 197 Tegarden Road, Gulfport, a short distance off U.S. 90, comes with the furniture and the equipment that is valued at over $375,00, she said. It was built in 1995 and sits on 1.3 acres..
The asking price for the building and business is $2.2 million.
“It has a a lot of potential,” Bush said, “especially for a new owner who would want to develop pool tournaments.”
The owners know there’s a real market for pool tournaments throughout the region, she said. They have a strong management team in place at Susie Cue’s, she said, and another business they own in Biloxi.
“The owners are downsizing their business portfolio after many years of building a strong brand and loyal customer base,” she said.
A key to the success of Susie Cue’s is the layout of pool tables, Bush said. They have several Diamond billiard tables, favored by players and tournaments around the world. It also has a sports bar with several televisions.
The property has been very well-maintained, she said, with major renovations to the kitchen in the last two years. A restaurant has seating for 580 people. It is known for its burgers and baskets, a big selection of appetizers and wings, plus funnel cake fries for dessert.
