Where can you get a great meal on the Coast for under $25? Here are some of our favorites

The new year is upon us and if you’re like me, you’ve likely got some resolutions.

For me, I’m going to get in shape and fulfill my dream of finally becoming a semi-professional basketball player. But maybe yours are simpler and less painful.

Like saving money, for example. Saving is always easier said than done. The Mississippi Coast and its incredible culinary variety doesn’t help matters, either.

So we’ve gathered up a brief list of some of the best restaurants where a meal can be had for under $25.

The G.O.A.T. Sports Pub and Pizzeria

The G.O.A.T. has been one of the Coast’s most popular pizza joints since it opened about a year and a half ago. It’s known for its events, game nights and, of course, pizza.

And it won’t break the bank, either. My go-to party of one consists of an 18-inch pizza, garlic knots and a drink. That’s $24.25.

Catching the game with a buddy? A 12-count wings with fries and a couple drinks runs $22.50.

The versatility and wallet-friendliness of the menu here is a major draw for locals. The G.O.A.T. is located at 1913 Pass Road in Biloxi.

Big Roosta’s Barbecue

Did you think I could make a restaurant list and not mention Big Roosta’s? If I don’t show up at the front door on Friday like clockwork I’m pretty sure they would call the authorities.

Six-count wings, naked, cajun country with a lemonade. That puts me well under $25. Need to bring home a family meal? You can grab 20 wings for exactly $25.

A half-pound of pulled pork with a couple of sides plus a Big Ass cookie (that’s the actual name) falls under our cost ceiling, as well.

Big Roosta’s can be found at 14129 Dedeaux Road in Gulfport.

Rosita’s

Ocean Springs is home to one of the best local taco shops on the Coast. Rosita’s offers both classic and unique menu items and at an affordable price.

Known for their dipping tacos that are served with birria, you can order three tacos and a watermelon aguas frescas for just $20. Or grab a couple of birria ramen cups and a plate of nachos for $24.

Reviews from Rosita’s have been sky high since the restaurant’s opening thanks to its quality food and affordability. The restaurant is at 6819 Washington Avenue in Ocean Springs.

Indian Delight

Speaking of rave reviews on Washington Avenue, Indian Delight has been a hit ever since opening just over a year ago.

The instant popularity isn’t just because the restaurant offers some of the only Indian food found on the Coast, but also for its easily manageable prices.

Where else can you get garlic naan break, chicken curry and a drink for under $25? The menu here is deep and very few of the entrees go over $16.

Indian Delight is open every day at 6615 Washington Avenue.

Camphouse Burger Bar

Simple, affordable and some call it the best place for a burger. The Downtown Long Beach restaurant can be difficult to get into during peak hours and it’s easy to understand why.

A double-patty burger with bacon, pepperjack, bacon jam and onion costs $9.99 here. Two patties with cheddar, pickles, onions, tomato, lettuce and comeback sauce? Also $9.99.

Camphouse allows you to walk in with a $20 bill and walk out with a burger and walk out with a gourmet level burger and a milkshake.

The restaurant is located at 206 Jefferson Davis Avenue.
