What MS Coast restaurants and casino buffets are open on Thanksgiving? Here’s the list

Turkey, stuffing and pumpkin pie await at South Mississippi restaurants that will be setting the Thanksgiving table with holiday favorites and welcoming families and friends.

Gumbo, Gulf shrimp, crab legs and other Coast favorites also will be on the menu at local restaurants and casino buffets.

Reservations are suggested at most restaurants to make sure they save a seat — except at the buffets.

Local restaurants open

Cora’s Restaurant at White House Hotel, Biloxi, will again put out a bountiful Thanksgiving buffet from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Guests will find ham, turkey and pork tenderloin with all the Thanksgiving fixings along with an egg and omelet station, deviled eggs, fruit and cheese tray. $50 per person, plus tax and tip; $24 for children 12 and under

Boogie’s Grill and Chill at 2650 Beach Blvd., Biloxi is a veteran-owned business open 365 days a year. On the menu for Thanksgiving are football and a Thanksgiving Day spread, along with the regular menu.

Sapphire Supper Club at Legends in downtown Biloxi will have a daily special in addition to the regular menu and regularly scheduled entertainment.

White Pillars in Biloxi will celebrate with a three course prefixe dinner for $70 per person, plus beverage tax and tip. Vegetarian and children’s options are available. Crab rangoon ravioli and oyster and artichoke soup are among the choices for the first course. The main course is pan seared Gulf fish or chicken fried turkey and three kinds of desserts finish the meal. Shareable sides like collard greens and whipped sweet potatoes with praline topping can be added.

Doe’s Eat Place at Margaritaville Resort Biloxi will be open on Thanksgiving and have a daily special.

Saltgrass Steak House in Biloxi is open from 11 a.m.-4 p.m. on Thanksgiving, featuring chargrilled steaks, chicken and seafood.

Margaritaville Cafe at Margaritaville Resort Biloxi is open on Thanksgiving Day, and kids can get a cheeseburger and then play their favorite video games at the Escape arcade.

Thorny Oyster restaurant at The Pearl hotel in Bay St. Louis is open on Thanksgiving, with limited reservations.

Flatheads and Bottom Feeders at 8161 Woolmarket Road in Biloxi will be open on Thanksgiving from 11 a.m. to midnight.

Casino restaurants & buffets

Most all of the restaurants inside Coast casinos will be open on Thanksgiving. Here’s a sampling:

Beau Rivage Resort & Casino has a variety of places serving Thanksgiving specials.

On The Buffet will be slow roasted turkey with all the sides, prime rib, pork loin stuffed with oyster dressing, Coca-Cola glazed ham and lots of desserts. Brunch hours are from 8-11 a.m. (Adults $32.99, Children $19.99, Kids 4 and under free). Dinner hours are 11 a.m.-10 p.m. (Adults $49.99, Children $25.99, Kids 4 and under free).

Salt & Ivy has a special turkey dinner platter with all the fixings plus dessert for $32. It’s open from 11 a.m.-11 p.m.

Turkey and all the trimmings will be served up at Salt & Ivy restaurant at Beau Rivage Resort and Casino in Biloxi. South Mississippi residents and visitors have lots of choices for celebrating Thanksgiving at a Coast restaurant, ordering takeout or getting help with the turkeys, pies and sides.

Coraline’s new seafood restaurant has a special Cajun fried turkey, seafood cornbread stuffing, plus sides for $36, with add-ons of salad or squash soup. It’s open from 4:30-10 p.m.

BR Prime will have its full menu and a special turkey breast roulade with oyster dressing plus upscale sides for $72. For dessert, add a hazelnut brown butter tart, caramelized pears, and buttermilk ice cream for $12. 4:30-10 p.m. Reservations required.

BetMGM Book Bar & Grill will be serving up football plus a special platter of glazed turkey breast with choice of sides for $32. It’s open from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Snacks fast and fresh restaurant on the casino floor will have a turkey sandwich, stuffing, collard greens and other sides for $14, from 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Pumpkin cheesecake also is featured.

Boomtown Steakhouse at Boomtown Casino Biloxi is featuring a three course dinner for $37 per person with salad or appetizer, turkey and sides plus bread pudding for dessert.

Golden Nugget Casino Biloxi restaurants will be open for Thanksgiving. .Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. is open from 11 a.m.-8 p.m. for Southern comfort food with a little attitude.

Hard Rock Casino Biloxi is putting out a Thanksgiving buffet at Satisfaction from 11 a.m.-4 p.m. for $44.99.

Ruth’s Chris Steak House at Hard Rock has a holiday special of soup or salad, turkey dinner with sides and pumpkin cheesecake for dessert, starting at $48 for adults and $20 for kids.

Sugar Factory at Hard Rock Biloxi is a sweet place for specialty coffees and desserts plus hot chocolate and over-the top milkshakes and desserts. Savory dishes include monster burgers, specialty pizzas, crepes and salads.

Harrah’s Gulf Coast restaurants will be open for Thanksgiving, include Magnolia House fine dining restaurant that features Southern favorites.

Hollywood Gulf Coast will have its traditional Thanksgiving spread at Epic Buffet, with all you can eat snow crab legs and colossal crab legs. It’s available from 11 a.m.-8 p.m. for $49.99. Children are allowed at this buffet.

IP Casino

has a variety of restaurants, such as Thirty-Two fine dining restaurant at the top of the tower and Tien Asian restaurant, along with more casual Bayview Cafe and The Sports Bar by Fan Duel for Thanksgiving meals and football.

Island View Casino has a variety of Thanksgiving specials for guest, who must be 21 and older.

The Buffet will be open 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. for $27.99 per person and feature carved turkey, prime rib, barbecue ribs, shrimp, catfish and sundae bar.

C&G Grille will feature a special Thanksgiving dinner starting with salad or gumbo, turkey, catfish and banana pie. It’s available from 10:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. for $25 per person.

Dockside Deli will have turkey dinner wist sides and pumpkin pie for $24 per person from 11 a.m.-9 p.m.

Carter Green Steakhouse will serve a Thanksgiving meal with a choice of roast pork tenderloin or double oyster Rockefeller with sides and peach tart. It’s featured from 5-10 p.m. for $35 per person.

Prime Cut will have a special roast turkey dinner or softshell crab scampi pasta plus sides and hazelnut crunch for dessert, served from 5-10 p.m. for $30 per person.

Palace Casino will feature a traditional Thanksgiving menu, plus prime rib, ham, turkey, boiled shrimp and other favorites from 11 a.m.-9 p.m. for $40 per person or $38 with Players Club card

Mignon’s Steaks & Seafood at Palace Casino will featured a special from noon-6 p.m., with seafood gumbo, maple bourbon glazed turkey breast with andouille cornbread dressing and a dessert trio in addition to the a la carte menu. Book at OpenTable.com

Scarlet Pearl Casino is celebrating the holiday at Under the Oak Cafe will serve a Southern turkey plate with Cajun smoked turkey and sides for $27. A slice of sweet potato with toppings is $14.

Silver Slipper Casino will add all you can eat Dungeness crab and jumbo shrimp to the traditional holiday menu at Jubilee Buffet. It’s available from 11 a.m.–9 p.m. for $49.95

Blue Bayou Bar & Grill at Silver Slipper will have a special Thanksgiving dinner from 11 a.m.-5 p.m., with salad, ham or turkey with sides and holiday pie for $52. Those who prefer can order a ribeye steak dinner for $74.

Treasure Bay Casino’s Thanksgiving Day buffet is from 11 a.m.-10 p.m., with Cajun turkey breast, smoked brisket, seafood stuffed salmon, homemade pecan pie and other favorites. It’s $47.99 with crab legs and lobster, with players card, or $25.49 without crab.

The Den Restaurant on the ninth floor will be open from 11 a.m.-11 p.m. A special Thanksgiving meal is $30 per person.

Pick-up orders

Restaurants and grocery stores will help make the turkey, sides and desserts for Thanksgiving dinner. Here are some examples:

Greenhouse Biloxi is helping with Thanksgiving dinner by making pies, cookies, cinnamon rolls, quiche, biscuits and other fixings. Pre-order by Nov. 23 and pick up on Nov. 26 or 27 from 7a.m.-2p.m.

Dickey’s Barbecue Pit in D’Iberville and Gulfport are making their heat and serve cajun turkey throughout the holidays.

Rouses Market has order forms for people to order turkey and ham plus a variety of sides to take home, heat and eat. The stores also has a variety of holiday dishes and desserts available for those who want some help with dinner.

Winn-Dixie stores will be open from 7 a.m.-4 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day for holiday shopping.

Aldi is advertising a Thanksgiving dinner to feed 10 for $47.
