South Mississippi is getting a taste of what’s to come when OS 1515 mixed use development opens in downtown Ocean Springs early next year.
Last week a super-sized mural was completed by internationally-known muralist Douglas “Hoxxoh” Hoekzema. It covers the entire south side of the parking garage in the OS 1515 courtyard.
The latest announcement is that Desi Vega’s Steakhouse — Ocean Springs is the fine dining restaurant coming to the resort’s boutique hotel on Government Street.
The iconic restaurant is a fine dining experience in downtown New Orleans, and will become a “culinary gem” in Ocean Springs, the developers of OS 1515 said on Facebook.
The menu will feature USDA prime steaks and seafood dishes crafted by Chef Marlon Hornsby and his team.
The fine dining restaurant will be located on the street level of the building at the eastern side of OS 1515. Developers John Oropesa and Jim Hardin have built three buildings that will house shops, condos, a food hall, courtyard and event venue in addition to the fine dining restaurant.
