Feel like a ‘boujee b----’ at this eclectic, hot pink restaurant going viral on Facebook

A new hot pink eatery and bar about an hour from the Mississippi Coast is anything but a typical Mexican restaurant.

The Pink Agave opened in Covington, Louisiana last week and the restaurant has been so busy that they sometimes don’t have time to answer the phone.

The restaurant prides itself on their vibe — hot pink everything so guests can live their best lives, whether eating there for brunch or dinner or taking a photo with their “Boujee B----” cocktail to post on Instagram.

“Pink Agave ain’t you normal bland boring restaurant,” the restaurant posted the day before opening on Oct. 6. “We love bumping to good music and creating a fun (very fun) atmosphere without being judged.”

The post was shared nearly 1,000 times. And things haven’t slowed down since, the restaurant said on Facebook.

Trendy music blares from the speakers throughout the restaurant. The art is loud and colorful and the servers are friendly, according to the Pink Agave’s Facebook page.

Pink Agave serves Mexican cuisine, a daily brunch menu and a large drink selection including wine, beer, margaritas and more.

Their first location is in Ponchatoula, Louisiana and has a 4.5 star review rating on Google. Guests loved the food, atmosphere and themed cocktails.

The “Boujee B----” is the restaurant’s signature drink and is made with dragon fruit and mango. “It’s for bad b------ only,” the menu reads.

The Pink Agave also does themed nights, like Thursdays when country music plays all night, small margaritas are $4 and you get a free shot if you wear a cowboy hat or boots.
