Another Broken Egg Café is opening a trendy brunch restaurant on the Mississippi Coast

One of the trendiest Southern-inspired restaurants is coming to Biloxi, the company announced.

Another Broken Egg Café has more than 80 locations open across 15 states, and another 20 in development. The company recently signed an agreement to open a cafe in Biloxi, according to National Restaurant News.

No operator or location was announced.

This will be the third location in Mississippi, with restaurants already open Ridgeland and Flowood.

“Another Broken Egg Cafe’s passion is to create Southern-Inspired breakfast, brunch and lunch dishes, with an artisanal flair,” according to the company Facebook page, “that are ‘craveably’ delicious and can pair with refreshing, hand-crafted cocktails.”

The restaurant is open only for breakfast and brunch, generally from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m., with the expected shrimp and grits, a stack of pancakes and chicken and waffles.

Add the unexpected indulgences like lobster and brie omelet or a Bourbon Street waffle with bananas, pecans, rum butter sauce drizzle and fresh whipped cream for a special event brunch or “skinny” selections for those watching their diet. Seasonal selections like rum cake French toast with berries make the most of summer.

The upscale ‘NextGen Casual’ daytime-only restaurant has seen record-setting sales this year.

“We are seeing significant momentum in on our franchise and corporate cafe growth efforts,” said Paul Macaluso, CEO and president.

“We are energized and ready to power through the rest of 2022, securing even more development opportunities with operators looking for an innovative and profitable day-part brunch concept that offers a better quality of life for their managers, servers, kitchen staff and for themselves.”
