After two weeks, four rounds and 30,000 votes, you’ve chosen the restaurant with the best pizza on the Mississippi Coast.

Lost Pizza Co. in Ocean Springs is the winner of the Sun Herald’s first ever Pizza Bracket, garnering more than 8,000 votes in the final round of the bracket.

The restaurant, at 4010 Bienville Blvd. Suite B, is open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily and pulled out ahead of the runner-up, C.A. Sarducci’s in Gulfport, in the last day of voting. The two had been neck and neck for much of the final round.

The regional chain has 11 specialty pizzas on the menu, and guests can also build their own pie. The restaurant also offers pasta, appetizers and sandwiches.

Lost Pizza Co. also beat out local favorites like Brooklyn Pizzeria in Gulfport and Bay St. Louis and The Sicilian II in Biloxi.

The Sun Herald’s pizza bracket featured 16 of the most popular and top-rated Italian restaurants in South Mississippi.
