Future dates for Fat Tuesday and the end of the Mardi Gras celebration season

So we’ve reached the point of the 2026 Mardi Gras season where two of the biggest questions are what to do with all those throws and when can we do this all again.

The Mardi Gras season always begins on Jan. 6, with Fat Tuesday coming 47 days before Easter, always falling between Feb. 3 and March 9. After a long season in 2025, we had a much shorter season in 2026 and will have an even shorter season in 2027.
