Here are the 2020 Mardi Gras parade maps, schedule for the Mississippi Gulf Coast

Although New Orleans and Mobile often fight over the title of the historic home of Mardi Gras, the Mississippi Gulf Coast has had parades and revelry for just as long.

The 2020 Carnival season officially kicked off on Twelfth Night, Jan. 6, and the Coast’s parades and balls really get rolling at the beginning of February.

This year, for the start of the new decade, many krewes are celebrating with a Roaring ‘20s theme.

The first parades start on Saturday, Feb. 1 and roll each weekend until Mardi Gras on Feb. 25.

Here is the schedule for parades across the Mississippi Gulf Coast, including the three Coastal counties and beyond.

There are three parades on Mardi Gras day, including the Gulf Coast Carnival Association parade in Biloxi.
