William Dolan was eventually convicted and sent to prison, though the evidence linking him to the break-ins was shoddy. Years later, Dolan’s body was found floating in the Mississippi River — or was it? Moncrief was born and raised in Pascagoula, and graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi with a B.S. in history.
