Fun By The River: Several events will celebrate Moss Point's 115th anniversary at the Riverfront Center and Park. Run the River 5K, 8:30 a.m., will start at the Pelican Landing parking lot. Fun By The River will host exhibits from 9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Parade of Memories participants will line up at 10 a.m. at the Magnolia Middle School parking lot for a noon celebration of decorated cars, floats, bicycles, walkers, bands and more. The theme is Remembering Our Past. Businesses, churches, schools, banks and other groups are encouraged to participate.
