From the archives of photographer Tim Isbell, “The People Within” exhibition serves as a moving photographic essay on the Mississippi Gulf Coast’s Vietnamese culture. Originally exhibited on March 12, 1993, following the publication of the series in the Sun Herald newspaper on Nov. 29-Dec. 4, 1992, the current rehanging of the exhibit marks the 40th anniversary of arrival of the first Vietnamese “boat people.”
