Hip-hop artist Future to headline Spring Fest in Biloxi

BILOXI -- Hip-hop heavyweight Future will headline Gulf Coast Spring Fest 2016 at the Mississippi Coast Coliseum in Biloxi.

The Atlanta-based rapper released a new mixtape, "Purple Reign," in January.

Mississippi Coast Coliseum said the concert will be held on April 9. Tickets will go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday.

Future has worked on collaborations with Rihanna, Drake and Miley Cyrus. His track "Move That Dope" won a 2014 BET Hip Hop Award for Best Club Banger. The single features verses by Pharrell, Casino and Pusha T. It was co-produced by Mike Will Made It.

The Coliseum said tickets can be purchased at the box office, at Ticketmaster or by phone at 800-745-3000.
