Gulfport art camp is July 11-15

First United Methodist Church of Gulfport and the Galleria of Fine Art will present an art summer camp from 9 a.m. to noon July 11-15 for middle school students. Artist and wood sculptor Marlin Miller will offer demonstrations in wood and metal sculpture and stained glass. Activities include acrylic and watercolor painting, zentangling, pottery, fish prints, floral arranging and creative writing.

The camp will be at 1300 24th Ave. The cost is $35 and the workshop is for ages 10 to 15. The cost includes materials and refreshments. Details: 863-0047 or 861-5448.

‘Spirited Summer’ featured at new gallery

Almost Circle Gallery, 128 Rue Magnolia, Biloxi, will feature various artwork titled “Spirited Summer” through July. The new gallery will be dedicated to providing a unique art experience through rotating exhibits, artist workshops and events. Details: 207-4799 or almostcircle.com.

Gulfport Little Theatre camps are July 11-29

The Gulfport Little Theatre, 2600 13th Ave., will hold summer theater camps from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mondays through Fridays from July 11 to July 29. The camps are for ages 6 to 16.

The cost is $250 for three weeks or $90 a week per camper. Before-care is available at a cost of $5 daily per camper. A limited number of scholarships will be available.

The activities include theater arts, acting, dance, voice, improv, stage design, set construction, lighting, sound, special FX, stage management, flying, auditions, directing, puppetry, costumes, makeup and film. Each week concludes with a Face-Off performance showcase for campers to demonstrate their skills and talents.
