Vote for your choir to Sing With Foreigner

Foreigner's "I Want To Know What Love Is" is one of the best-selling songs of 1984, topping the charts in the U.S. and the UK. The song, written by Mick Jones, the band's founding member, features a memorable performance by the New Jersey Mass Choir on its chorus.

The Sun Herald and Foreigner are giving one local school choir the opportunity to sing the anthem with the band at their April 23 appearance at the Hard Rock Live in Biloxi.

The "Sun Herald Sing With Foreigner" contest kicks off today at SunHerald.com. Choirs from Nativity BVM, Hope Academy, Ocean Springs Upper Elementary and Poplarville High School will go head-to-head to win an opportunity to sing with the band and receive $500 for their music program.

Videos submitted by the choirs have been uploaded to the SunHerald website. The winning choir will be the one that gets the most completed video views of the submitted video. Partial plays will not be counted as a vote.

Voting ends 5 p.m. Thursday, April 7. The winner will be announced Friday, April 8 on the SunHerald website.

Support the choir of your choice by voting at SunHerald.com and by sharing the contest on social media platforms such as Facebook and Twitter. The hashtag for the contest is #SingWithSH.
