Synopsis: The play, translated by Christopher Hampton, begins with a playground altercation between 11-year-old boys. Two sets of Brooklyn parents meet to resolve the matter. At first, diplomatic niceties are observed, but as the meeting progresses, tension emerges and the gloves come off.
