Synopsis: "Sleuth," the winner of both a Tony and Drama Critics Circle Award, is the ultimate game of cat-and-mouse. Written by Anthony Shaffer, it is a modern take on the classic thriller by Agatha Christie. This play moves quickly through plot twists and non-stop suspense as the characters constantly attempt to get the better of each other. Jay Lynn directs veteran Gulf Coast actors Clayton Pennylegion and Barry Newman as the principal characters in this brilliant parody of the Agatha Christie country-house thriller. Pennylegion plays Andrew Wyke, a celebrated mystery writer with a passion for games and deception. He invites Newman's Milo Tindle to his home only to confront him about his romantic involvement with Wyke's wife, Marguerite. Revenge is devised and murders plotted as the two attempt to carry out the ultimate whodunit.
