Arts Notes (Dec. 6)

Biloxi Little Theatre, 220 Lee St., will present "A Smith Family Christmas" at 3 p.m. today. There will be music, door prizes, surprises for children and more. Cost: $10 adults, $5 children and $25 for a family of four. Tickets: 4blt.org.

Mary C. offers holiday show, 10-minute play festival

The Mary C. O'Keefe Cultural Center, 1600 Government St., Ocean Springs, will host a Coast Big Band Holiday Show at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday.

The 20-plus-piece big band orchestra will present a mix of dance music, pop tunes, soulful, Latin tunes, jazz standards and vocals. Cost: $12.50.

The 10-Minute High School Play Festival will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday and from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, with performances at 7 p.m. Cost to see the show is $5.

The festival will be led by Olivia Dunwoody, the Mississippi Theatre Association 10-Minute Festival chair. The cost is $5 per student to participate. The deadline to register teams is Wednesday.

Auditions for two shows will be in Pass Christian

Pass Christian Theatre Project will hold auditions for "The Odd Couple" and "Album" from 1 to 3 p.m. Dec. 13 and 5 to 7 p.m. Dec. 15 at the Randolph Center, 315 Clark Ave.

"Odd Couple" roles available are for six women, ages 40 and older, and two men, ages 25 and older. The show date is Feb. 26.

"Album" roles available are for two males and two females, high-school to college age. Audition material will be provided. The show will open in mid-April.
