Luther Dickinson and Ralphie May are among the things to do on the Coast

A country music headliner, a comedy star and an allstar solo artist are at the top of the things you can do this weekend in South Mississippi.

Country music singer Billy Currington will be at the IP Casino Resort on Friday with a show that starts at 8 p.m.

Currington has had nine No. 1 hit songs including “Let Me Down Easy.” Tickets start at $70 and are available at Ticketmaster.com.

Stand up comic Ralphie May hits the stage at the Hard Rock Live in Biloxi on Friday at 8 p.m.

May’s latest comedy special “Unruly” landed on Netflix in February.

Tickets start at $10 and can be purchased at Ticketmaster.com.

In theaters, the remake of “Ben Hur” opens on Friday as does the animated “Kubo and The Two Strings.” Both are showing in South Mississippi theaters including the Grand Theater in D’Iberville and the Cinemark 16 in Gulfport.

“America’s Got Talent” winner and former Waveland-resident Michael Grimm makes an appearance at the IP on Saturday at 8 p.m. Tickets start at $10 and can be purchased at Tickertmaster.com.

The North Mississippi AllStars Luther Dickinson will play an intimate show at the Ocean Springs Community Center on Sunday. Tickets start at $20 and are available by calling 228-872-3164.
