Rodeo, Steve Miller Band among things to do this weekend
Music lovers and rodeo fans will have plenty of choices this weekend in South Mississippi.
The Gulf Coast Black Rodeo, aka the “baddest show on dirt,” returns to the Mississippi Coast Coliseum for the seventh year on Saturday. It will feature more than 300 cowboys, calf ropers, barrel racers and bull riders.
The rodeo starts at 7:30 p.m. and tickets start at $14.

Steve Miller
If music is your thing, classic rocker Steve Miller will bring hits such as “Jungle Love” and “The Joker” to the Beau Rivage Resort & Casino on Friday at 8 p.m.

98 Degrees
98 Degrees will headline the My2K Tour on Friday at the IP Casino Resort. Fronted by brothers Nick and Drew Lachey, 98 Degrees ruled radio in the late ’90s with songs such as “I Do (Cherish You)” and “Because of You.”
The show also features O-Town and Ryan Cabrera.

Candlebox
Alternative rockers Candlebox will give an acoustic performance Saturday at the Hard Rock Live in Biloxi. The band best known for the hit “Far Behind,” dropped the album “Disappearing in Airports” in April.
