No free Ticketmaster shows on Coast

Good news, Coast music fans.

If you bought tickets through Ticketmaster between 1999 and early 2013, you could be eligible for free tickets to Rascal Flatts, Pitbull, Gwen Stefani, Counting Crows, Weezer and Keith Urban, among others.

The bad news? You'd have to go to California, Ohio, Pennsylvania or North Carolina.

About 50 million people are in line to receive vouchers for free tickets as a result of a class-action lawsuit over ticket fees and other charges.

Eligible customers received an email from Ticketmaster with instructions on how to receive free tickets and a link with the events the vouchers can be used for.

There are more than 250 shows on the list.

No shows are in Mississippi, Louisiana or Alabama.

You could see Melissa Etheridge, Fifth Harmony or Rick Springfield in Atlanta, which is about six hours from the Coast.

There's a Journey tribute band in Louisville, Ky., about 10 hours away.

Aside from that, a plane ticket or 16-hour drive pretty much take out the word “free” from “free tickets.”

Ticketmaster says it's updating the list, so feel free to check back.
