Violin-guitar duo will take stage at Arts Under Dome

Guitar and violin virtuosos Duo del Sol will perform at 7 p.m. Saturday as part of the Arts Under the Dome concert series.

Violinist Javier Orman and guitarist Tom Farrell, aka Duo del Sol, have been called "avant-sonic acrobats" by LA Weekly.

Duo del Sol fuses Latin, classical, rock, jazz and traditional world folk for a blend of rhythms that garnered them "Best Instrumental Album" at the 2014 Independent Music Awards.

The venue is First United Methodist Church on 15th Street and 24th Avenue in downtown Gulfport, across from Gulfport City Hall. Tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for students, available at the door or in advance from www.arts.fumc-gulfport.org.
