Jackson County Fair fun runs through Sunday
PASCAGOULA -- The 94th annual Jackson County Fair has been drawing crowds since it opened last week. If you haven't made it out yet, there is still time.
The fair, which will run through Sunday, is the place to be for rides, stockyard exhibits, live entertainment and plenty of food.
The fair, at Shortcut and Hospital roads in Pascagoula, has free parking in the north parking lot along Shortcut Road and along Vega Street, south of the fairgrounds.
Ride tickets start at $1 and rides average four tickets per ride but vary. Armband tickets will be available for $20 during Midnight Madness starting at 11 p.m. until 2 a.m. tonight and again from 12:30 to 5 p.m. and 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. Sunday.
Along with midway food vendors, the food-booth pavilion at the northwest corner of the fairgrounds houses 10 individual food booths.

Family Day in the Barn: 9 a.m. to noon Saturday; educational hands-on activities for kids and families
Youth Livestock Show (Barn): 2 p.m. Saturday
Jackson County Idol Hunt: Talent Show at 6 p.m. Saturday
Sunday
Super Sunday: 12:30 to 5 p.m. or 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. Sunday -- Armbands
