Prince William & Kate Middleton Celebrate 15 Wedding Anniversary
Prince William and Kate Middleton just celebrated their 15th wedding anniversary-and the British royals did so by sharing a rare family photo.
On Wednesday, April 29, the Prince and Princess of Wales officially marked 15 years since saying "I do" in 2011. They did so by delighting royal fans with pictures on Instagram and X.
"Celebrating 15 years of marriage ❤️," the royals captioned the update.
In the featured image, Prince William, 43, and Middleton, 44, wore casual clothing while lying on their backs in a grassy area next to their three children. Prince George, 12, was between his parents, while Princess Charlotte, 10, and Prince Louis, 8, lay next to their mom. The royal kids also wore everyday clothing, as all five family members were barefoot while smiling lovingly at each other. Additionally, Prince William and Middleton included their two dogs in the snapshot.
In the comments, Instagram users flooded the royal couple with congratulatory messages and well-wishes for many happy years to come. One royal fan wrote, "Awwww😭😭 what a brilliant family picture 🥹❤️ Happy 15th wedding anniversary to their royal highnesses The Prince and Princess of Wales 💍✨."

Fifteen years ago today, Prince William and Middleton exchanged vows in front of 1,900 guests at Westminster Abbey in London. Millions more tuned in to watch the live, televised wedding.
During their 15 years of marriage, Middleton and Prince William have weathered plenty of trials and scandals within the royal family. Both Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip died, and Prince Andrew is no longer a prince, for starters. The future king was also by his wife's side as she announced her cancer diagnosis in March 2024, before sharing that she was "cancer-free" that September. Middleton then announced that her cancer was in remission in January 2025.
