Two rock legends join forces and will kick off nationwide tour in Biloxi

Two rock legends will share the stage this fall — and they’ll kick off their 22-city tour in Biloxi.

Alice Cooper and Judas Priest will rock the stage at the Coast Coliseum Sept. 16.

The Live Nation tour will take the legends of rock across the country and into Canada, with special guest Corrosion of Conformity joining them in Biloxi and some other dates.

“The Mississippi Coast Coliseum, known for its expansive seating and cutting-edge sound system, is the perfect venue to host this dynamic duo,” said a post by TicketNews.

Tickets are on sale now at the Coast Coliseum box office, Ticketmaster and other ticket websites, starting at $35.

Alice Cooper pioneered theatrical brand of shock hard rock, according to the artist’s website, drawing from horror movies, vaudeville and garage rock. The group’s show featured electric chairs, guillotines, fake blood and boa constrictors and he continues to tour regularly, performing shows worldwide.

The heavy metal band Judas Priest formed in 1969 and has sold over 50 million albums. They recently released their celebrated 19th studio album.

Concerts coming up next at the Coast Coliseum are

April 25-27 — Crawfish Music Festival with rides, games, music and crawfish

June 7 — Biloxi Blues Extravaganza

June 28 — Anne Wilson

Aug. 23 — Dierks Bentley
