Hamilton is coming to New Orleans, with a lottery for $10 tickets. Here’s how to enter

The smash Broadway musical Hamilton is coming to the Saenger Theatre in New Orleans, and there will be a digital lottery for a limited number of $10 tickets for each performance.

The lottery will open at 10 a.m. on Friday, March 28, and close at 12:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 3, for tickets to performances from April 8 to April 13. Subsequent digital lotteries will begin each Friday and close the following Thursday for the upcoming week’s performances.

To enter, you will need to download the official Hamilton app, which is available for all iOS and Android devices in the Apple App Store and the Google Play Store.

Winner notifications will be sent starting at 1 p.m. every Thursday for the upcoming week’s performances via email and mobile push notification. Winners will have two hours to claim and pay for their ticket(s). No purchase or payment is necessary to enter or participate and each winning entrant may purchase up to two tickets.

Rules allow for only one entry per person, with repeat entries and entries from disposable email addresses being discarded.

Lottery tickets may be picked up at Saenger beginning 2 hours prior to the performance with a valid photo ID, and are void if resold.
