Award-winning 1990s rock band bringing summer tour to South Mississippi music venue

Singing along to favorite rock songs on a summer night awaits fans of Counting Crows, coming to The Sound Amphitheater in Gautier.

The show is at 8 p.m. Sunday, July 27, with special guests The Gaslight Anthem.

The California band from the San Francisco Bay area of California formed in 1991, and has top hits like “Round Here,” “Mr. Jones,” “A Long December” and “Anna Begins.”

Their “The Complete Sweets Tour” kicks off in April, then tours the United States and heads to Europe for shows in Paris, Madrid, London and other cities.

Aug. 3 —Skillet, known for fusion of hard rock, electronic elements and thought-provoking lyrics
