See the trailer for John Travolta’s film ‘High Rollers,’ shot at Mississippi Coast casino

The trailer is out for the movie John Travolta filmed in 2023 at Scarlet Pearl Casino Resort in D’Iberville, along with a release date.

“How cool is this,” Scarlet Pearl CEO LuAnn Pappas, CEO of Scarlet Pearl posted on Facebook Friday afternoon, as the casino gets ready for the Super Bowl weekend.

The movie titled “High Rollers” will be released in theaters and on digital March 14, according to IMBd.

Travolta and the cast and crew spent nearly a month on the Coast in April 2023 filming the sequel to the movie “Cash Out.”

The trailer shows intense scenes from the action thriller and calls the Scarlet Pearl depicted in the film “a decadent playground for the rich and famous.”

Best known for movies “Grease” and “Pulp Fiction.” Travolta was seen on the casino floor at Scarlet Pearl during the filming and also on the beach and other location shots in South Mississippi.

The movie also stars Gina Gershon, Lukas Haas and hip hop artist Quavo. Some of the dealers and other staff at Scarlet Pearl had parts in the film.

Travolta’s character Mason is a master thief, island hopping with his crew and the love of his life (Gershon), with a sea of stolen cash. His dream is shattered when his nemesis kidnaps his girlfriend and forces Mason and his crew to attempt a near-impossible casino heist to get her back.

Pappas said the film will bring exposure to the Mississippi Coast.

“It’s really great for the area,” she said.
