South MS will welcome 2025 with ball drops, fireworks and family fun across the Coast

South Mississippi rings in 2025 with celebrations and countdowns that start before noon and go from one end of the Coast to the other.

The parties are for all ages, for those who want to gather with neighbors and friends and those who want to get dressed up, dine and dance into the night with that someone special.

The Coast will welcome 2025 with three downtown countdowns:

Bay St. Louis New Year’s Eve Oyster Drop gets bigger every year. It starts at 7 p.m., with the streets closed and the stage set up in the middle of South Beach Boulevard. The Chee Weez and other bands will entertain, leading up to the oyster drop and fireworks at midnight. Bars along the street will be celebrate with food and drink plus a front row seat to the festivities.

The Drop on Government Street will see the streets of downtown Ocean Springs filled with revelers of all ages waiting for the ball to drop and welcome 2025. The event starts at 8 p.m. and admission is free.

Anchor Drop on Magnolia Street in downtown Pascagoula. 8 p.m.-12:30 a.m. Free admission. Live music by Mississippi Moonlight from 8-10 p.m. and Kings of Neon from 10:30 p.m.-12:30 a.m.

Family fun

Three Balloon Drops will ring in 2025 at Margaritaville Resort Biloxi — Little Tykes Drop at 7 p.m., Kids’ Drop at 9 p.m., then the midnight grand countdown drop. Escape Family Entertainment Center is open with a DJ from 9 p.m.-1 a.m., half-price games starting at 10 p.m. Free entry for all ages.

Countdown to Noon 2025 at Lynn Meadows Discovery Center, 246 Dolan Ave., Gulfport. 10 a.m.-noon. Kids get their chance to ring in the New Year at noon instead of midnight. $12 for adults and children.

New Year’s Eve Ice Skating Party at Coast Coliseum, Biloxi. 7-8:30 p.m. Tickets go on sale at 6 p.m. $13

Big Play Entertainment Center in Biloxi is open for family fun and games on New Year’s Eve.

Dancing and NYE toasting

A White House Soiree at White House Hotel, Biloxi starts at 9 p.m. with dancing and fun. Elevate the night by reserving a table at Cora’s for a five-course dinner.

New Year’s Eve Party at Ground Zero Blues Club at 814 Howard Ave., Biloxi starts at 8 p.m.with Kat Riggins & The Shaelyn Band.

Legendary New Year’s Eve at Sapphire Supper Club at Hotel Legends, 674 Beach Blvd., Biloxi. 10 p.m.-1 a.m. Sounds of Spencer Racca & Ryan Simon, champagne and lite bites. Tickets start at $50.

New Year’s Eve Pre-Party at Sunset Lounge, Gulf Hills Hotel + Resort, 13701 Paso Road, Ocean Springs. The public is welcome to hang out before heading to The Drop on Government. DJ Todd from 4:30-6:30 p.m. Sunset champagne flights.

New Year’s Eve Party at Flatheads and Bottom Feeders, 8161 Woolmarket Road, Biloxi. Live entertainment with a Nashville recording artist band, karaoke, midnight balloon drop, food and drinks. Wrist band entry. $25.

Casino celebrations

All the casinos across South Mississippi will salute the New Year with special dinners, parties and midnight celebrations.

Beau RivageThe Molly Ringwalds return to ring in the new year at Beau Rivage Theatre starting at 10:30 p.m. Tickets start at $25.

Neon Party in Eight75, with dancing to a saxophonist from 8-9:30 p.m., and Triggerproof from 9:40 p.m.–2 a.m. Tickets are $40 and include one beverage, champagne toast and party favors at midnight.

Lux Lounge & MGM Golf will haven an ‘80s party from 8 p.m.-1 a.m. DJ, complementary toast and party favors at midnight. $20 or $300 for reserved tables.

Golden Nugget Casino Biloxi — Party from 10 p.m.-1 a.m. with entertainment by Time Machine, open bar and champagne toast at midnight. Must be 21 or older. Tickets are $75 on New Year’s Eve at Essentials Gift Shop.

Hard Rock Biloxi — Music by Sugar Shaker and DJ Doc Roc and countdown fun. $50 entry. 9 p.m.

Harrahs Gulf Coast — New Years Eve Package includes two-night stay (Dec. 30-Jan. 1), VIP New Year’s Eve Party, seafood buffet, complimentary drinks, photo booth souvenir for $699 per couple.

Hollywood Casino Gulf Coast — Jay Dupuis Ultimate Elvis. Dinner and show at 7 p.m. and 9 p.m.

Island View Casino — Live music throughout the resort Dec. 30 and 31.

Silver Slipper Casino — Joni Compretta & Baytown Groove, 9 p.m.-1 a.m. Pre-New Year’s celebration on Dec. 28 with Witness on the stage. New Year’s Eve party with music by Joni Compretta starting at 9 p.m. and party favors, confetti cannon and champagne toast at midnight Dec. 31.
