Air Force Thunderbirds are scheduled to return to South MS in 2025. Here’s what we know

The U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds will return to Biloxi next year, according to a preliminary schedule.

The Thunder Over the Sound air show is scheduled for Nov. 1 and 2 — the final show on the schedule for the 2025 season for the Thunderbirds.

The Thunderbirds last flew over Biloxi in late April 2023, when more than 100,000 people were on the beaches and around the city looking into the sky as the planes roared by. At that event, the air show started at Keesler Air Force Base in Biloxi each day and the action moved to the beach for afternoon flights.

A representative at Keesler Air Force Base said Tuesday that no information has been released on an air show in Biloxi next year.

However, the Peter Anderson Festival, typically held the first weekend in November, is being moved back one week because of the air show, said Cynthia Dobbs Sutton, director of Ocean Springs Chamber of Commerce— Main Street— Tourism Bureau. It is being planned for Nov. 8-9.

An updated 2025 schedule is scheduled to be released by the Thunderbirds in December. ·
