The holiday schedule is still full across South MS. Here’s what’s going on this weekend

South Mississippi still has some holiday events in store.

Gulfport Harbor Lights Winter Festival continues to shine at Jones Park in Gulfport and TrainTastic in Gulfport has lights and trains to delight generations.

Here are many more events to brighten the holidays on the Coast:

Through Dec. 31 — Gulfport Harbor Lights Winter Festival with 1.5 million lights, animated displays, Ferris wheel, holiday train. Visit Santa’s Village to see working elves, take photos with Santa, and sip hot cocoa.

Through Dec. 31 — Magical Mississippi Christmas at Mississippi Aquarium, across U.S. 90 from Harbor Lights. Opens at 5:30 p.m.

Dec. 5-28 — Holiday Lights at TrainTastic, 615 Pass Road, Gulfport. Thursday-Saturday, 5:30-8 p.m. 2 million lights, Train rides, crafts, Santa, holiday treats. $25 person

Dec. 12-28 — Elf the Musical Broadway show comes to Beau Rivage Theatre. Tickets start at $25, or $60 for a package of four.

Dec. 23 — Sounds of Christmas with Chapel Hart at Sound Amphitheater, Gautier at 7 p.m. The trio comes home to South Mississippi to perform holiday songs from their new album plus their hits. Tickets $20

Dec. 24 — Christmas Eve Ice Skating at Coast Coliseum, Biloxi. 4:30-6 p.m. $13. Tickets go on sale at 3:30 p.m.
